May 6, 2016:

DeMorrow Instrument's Ltd. welcomes the world-famous marimbist, composer and teacher Gordon Stout into the family of DeMorrow instrument owners. Gordon, a Percussive Arts Society Hall of Fame member, has been at the forefront of the "marimba movement" since the mid-seventies in both his playing and his compositions. Because of his teaching ability, many of his former students hold positions in major universities in the U.S. He has definitely helped bring the marimba to a point of prominence in the percussion world and music in general. We are very excited to see what path he leads us down in the future.

With this announcement, we also introduce a Gordon Stout Concert Marimba model. It is a limited production instrument because of the select keyboard and the finish on the frame. The term "select keyboard" means that the bars chosen for this model are of a higher-grade rosewood than is used on our normal concert series marimba. The finish on the frame is a solid black, highly polished piano finish which takes five weeks to complete. This frame is not height adjustable, however, it can be built to the individual's requirements.

SEPTEMBER 18, 2015:  BAGS AND COVERS ARE NOW AVAILABLE TO ORDER!!  FIND THEM IN "OTHER PRODUCTS"

AS OF APRIL 13, 2015:   ANY ORDER THAT IS ON THE WAITING LIST CAN ALWAYS BE PUT ON HOLD OR CANCELLED.  THE GUARANTEED QUALITY OF THE MARIMBA ENABLES US TO GUARANTEE A TIMEFRAME IN WHICH THE INSTRUMENT WILL BE COMPLETED.   ONCE A DEPOSIT IS RECEIVED, THERE IS NO REFUND.

AS OF FEBRUARY 2015:  ALL PAYMENTS FROM OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES (FROM INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMERS AND SCHOOLS) MUST BE PAID BY A WIRE TRANSFER BEFORE THE INSTRUMENT IS SHIPPED OUT.  THIS IS DUE TO CONTINUOUS ISSUES WITH PAYMENTS.
